The source alleges that the data originated from an individual with privileged access to the Iranian Embassy or a related system. The group has stated that it is reviewing the documents and may publish them if they are verified to belong to individuals with alleged ties to the Islamic Republic of Iran, including officials, Basij members, or the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
